Applications must be in to the CASA office by midnight CST Friday, December 2, 2011.
The Canadian Agricultural Safety and Health Program (CASHP) assists in funding initiatives that support CASA’s mission to make the agricultural sector a safe place to work and live by helping producers identify and manage safety risks. CASHP’s advisory committee annually distributes funds provided under the federal-only component of the Business Development program of the federal-provincial-territorial Growing Forward initiative to qualified groups who submit applications according to deadlines set by CASA.
Together, Farm Credit Canada (FCC) and the Canadian Agriculture Safety Association (CASA) provide financial assistance for training aimed at keeping agriculture operators, entrepreneurs and employees safe at work. Eligible projects include those directed toward individuals or train-the-trainer programs.
