Project Grants

CASHP

Canadian Agricultural Safety Association (CASA) will distribute approximately $250,000 for agricultural safety and health initiatives across Canada this year under the Canadian Agricultural Safety and Health Program (CASHP).

CASA’s executive director Marcel Hacault says this year’s focus will be on funding projects that develop new farm safety resources to support the Canada FarmSafe Plan. “We’ll especially be looking for proposals that promise to deliver educational resources for health and safety training across the country.”

The closing date for CASHP applications is Friday, April 27, 2012.  Download the Guidelines and Application Form.

The Canadian Agricultural Safety and Health Program (CASHP) assists in funding initiatives that support CASA’s mission to make the agricultural sector a safe place to work and live by helping producers identify and manage safety risks. CASHP’s advisory committee annually distributes funds provided under the federal-only component of the Business Development program of the federal-provincial-territorial Growing Forward initiative to qualified groups who submit applications according to deadlines set by CASA.
